3-pin sockets for EV charging

A proper charging point is usually the best way to charge an EV, being faster and able to take advantage of smart tariffs. But a 3-pin socket may be a more economic option, especially when used infrequently. But sockets should be these special, robust versions, approved to the new BS1363-2/EV standard to withstand the high current draw over many hours, and installed on a dedicated circuit.
