Weatherproof (IP66) 13 Amp unswitched socket, suitable for EV charging.
Meets BS1363-2/EV requirements for extended use periods.
Socket is inline with the seal, accommodating bulkier plugs and strain reliefs.
Recommended maximum continous load: 10 Amps.
Recommended to use a cable with temperature sensor built into the 3-pin plug.
Requires professional installation on a separate circuit, not as a 'spur'. Dedicated Residual Current Device (RCD) required - not shared with other circuits. PEN fault protection may also be required.
