Meets BS1363-2/EV requirements. Double pole switched.
Marked with 'Suitable for Charging of Electric Vehicles' on hinged cover.
Recommended max continous load 10 Amps. Recommend using a cable with temperature sensor built into the 3-pin plug.
Requires professional installation on a separate circuit, not as a 'spur'. Dedicated Residual Current Device (RCD) required - not shared with other circuits. PEN fault protection may also be required. Surge Protection Device (SPD) recommended as with all EV charging installations.
